"Meet Me Tonight" is the last track both on side 1 on Larry Santos' 1975 self-titled album and on side 2, taken from Larry Santos' 1976 album, "You Are Everything I Need".
It was also covered by soul star Leslie Uggams on her 1975 self-titled album that same year.
lyrics
Here I am again in this empty room
All alone
Can you meet me tonight
Can you come for a while
Cause my thoughts are driving me crazy again
I just got to hold you tight
Will you meet me?
Come on meet me, baby, meet me, meet me tonight
I just can't believe
That I'm caught up in this web of intrigue
It isn't fair
Say you'll meet me tonight
Well, it hurts my pride, cause you're there by his side
When I want you to be here with me
Say you'll meet me tonight
I don't care if it's wrong or right
Will you meet me?
Come on meet me, meet me tonight
Baby, please come to me
Cause I need you so desperately
Baby, meet me tonight
Baby, meet me tonight
Baby, baby, meet me tonight
Say you'll meet me tonight
You know I'm a slave to this telephone
You know I'm always alone
We can go away anywhere you say
My heart is heavy like stone
Baby, make your move
Baby, do it soon
Cause you know you're driving me crazy again
Will you meet me tonight?
I just got to hold you tight. Baby, meet me
I said meet me, come on meet me tonight
Oh, baby, will you meet me tonight?
Baby, will you meet me tonight?
Oh, meet me
Will you meet me tonight?
Come to meet me
I need you, want you, love you. Will you meet me tonight?
